ELMA panel on best practices & legislations for Live Music Sector in Europe, Milano Music Week

EURICCA’s co-founder Mark Sheridan will attend at the European Live Music Association (ELMA) meeting representing the initiative for the development of a partnership with ELMA partners. With the support of the Italian Association of Live event Promoters adn Producers (assomusica), ELMA partners organise a European panel with distinguished guests to compare the best practices and legislation of Live Music Sector in Europe on the 24th of November during the Milano Music Week and more specifically the Linecheck festival in Milan. ELMA Members meeting in Reeperbahn 2017

A year has passed since the last edition of Reeperbahn and this year again, member representatives are gathering in Hamburg. Aside administrative and internal topics, the aims of the meeting will be to validate the strategic development of the projects such as the mobility, mapping and VET activities. It will be an opportunity to plan next steps of on-going partnerships with music networks and communities such as the newly granted ERASMUS project cCLEP (Certified Competences for Live Events Professionals) or the Creative Europe NIMPE project (Network for the Internationalization of Music Producers in Europe) where ELMA members Assomusica, MESO events and RootMusic are involved. NIMPE partners launch the European Live Music Production sector mapping phase

One of the educational and vocational priorities of NIMPEs mapping project deliverable concerns the mapping of current live music production sector needs, in very different EU member countries, and more precisely, to gather concrete evidences of common problems but also of innovative practices, as to form a micro-model of sustainable solutions for the European Live Music sector. CULTURE and TOURISM: Presentation of Divertimento project during the World Tourism Fair – ITB

Following the collaboration between EURICCA network and CulturePolis regarding the use of Culture as a tool for Touristic development, the first results of the European project Divertimento  were successfully presented during the World Tourism Fair ITB, which was held on 8-12 March 2017 in Berlin.
