{"id":231,"date":"2017-06-04T22:19:55","date_gmt":"2017-06-04T20:19:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/euricca.eu\/?p=231"},"modified":"2017-10-04T22:21:15","modified_gmt":"2017-10-04T20:21:15","slug":"231","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euricca.eu\/?p=231","title":{"rendered":"NIMPE partners launch the European Live Music Production sector mapping phase"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the educational and vocational priorities of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nimpe.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NIMPEs mapping<\/a>\u00a0project deliverable concerns\u00a0the mapping of current live music production sector needs, in very different EU member countries, and more precisely, to gather concrete evidences of common problems but also of innovative practices,\u00a0as to form\u00a0a micro-model of sustainable solutions for the European Live Music sector.<\/p>\n<p>In this direction,\u00a0NIMPE Initiative deliberately operates as an umbrella network between national Music \u201cClusters and communities of practice\u201d, gathering public and private organisations data, comments and suggestions.<\/p>\n<p>Through mapping, interviewing, meetings and webinar activities, the results gathered will\u00a0enable NIMPE partners to provide data for policy resolutions, to emphasize on common solutions and support the development of common tools for European Music Producers.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-343 \" src=\"http:\/\/nimpe.eu\/newsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/logotqc-1024x604.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"418\" height=\"246\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tech-quimper.fr\/\">Technopole\u00a0<\/a>Quimper-Cornouaille, the French partner, leads the key research activity. It has a wide expertise in supporting the creation of new innovative businesses, networking the actors from enterprises\/research\/stakeholders to let innovative projects emerge.<\/p>\n<p>The pilot phase of the research will start by\u00a0the identification of technical information and best practices useful for music industry to help them in their project development, market access and innovation.<\/p>\n<p>Information and data collection will focus in 3 main axes:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>mapping of the wider live music sector<\/li>\n<li>Sharing of knowledge (event production chain process)<\/li>\n<li>Development of innovative &amp; sustainable solutions for the future of the European industry<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Mapping &amp; research approach:<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-336 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/nimpe.eu\/newsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/mapping-270x300.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"270\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Each NIMPE partner organisations will\u00a0contribute to this inventory that draws a common base of knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Targeted professional sectors are music producers, music organisations (with economic issues), enterprises and\u00a0doesn\u2019t encompass individuals\/artists at this stage.<\/li>\n<li>This collection will identify\n<ul>\n<li>Best Practices, Interesting initiatives on local\/regional areas or interesting organisation\/SME in music sector \/ innovation<\/li>\n<li>Country music profile with the Regional strategies and territorial dynamics on music production (Identikit)<\/li>\n<li>Music production funding \/funding opportunities (Vademecum)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nimpe.eu\/2017\/06\/07\/technopole-launches-the-european-live-music-production-sector-mapping-phase\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">More information<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the educational and vocational priorities of NIMPEs mapping\u00a0project deliverable concerns\u00a0the mapping of current live music production sector needs, in very different EU member countries, and more precisely, to gather concrete evidences of common problems but also of innovative practices,\u00a0as to form\u00a0a micro-model of sustainable solutions for the European Live Music sector.
